And not just that, I found out is super easy and very simple to do the sidechain triggering in Cubase with the FabFilter Pro Q-3 equalizer. This particular Template was crafted in the key of F, and in the tempo of 128 BPM as that is usually the tempo that Progressive House Tracks are written in. There's a couple of things to take in mind first: This template comes with amazing recourses and elements such as a FLP. The Fabfilter plugin has to be loaded in its VST3 version. Please note that they are installed in two versions. How did I know which one is the VST3 version? I went to Studio > VST Plug-in Manager > VST Effects. It will show you a list of all plugins and its version. So what I found is that the fabfilter plugins that are under the fabfilter folder, are VST2.4. But the VST3 versions don't start with "FabFilter.". And that one is VST 3.6.14 version (VST3). That's the version that has the sidechain option available. When inserting the plugin to your track, you can find it in "EQ" plugins category, not in the "Fabfilter" category.
The other thing to take in mind is that, Cubase has the side-chain feature in Cubase Elements and above versions. If you have Cubase AI, you will have to use another (more difficult method for side-chaining).
